H2O

60% of our body weight is composed of water. Every system in our body depends on water: water regulates our body temperature, lubricates our joints, help flush out toxic waste, and help dissolve minerals and nutrients to make them accessible to the body.

The body lose water through breathing, urinating and bowel movements. The lost water must be replenished for your body to function properly. When you lack water, you become dehydrated. Dehydration makes it difficult for your body to carry out it's normal functions causing you to drain your energy and make you feel tired.

I've always read that you should drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. I try to hit this amount but I can't seem to drink that much though. So, I read up more and learned that you should take the cue from the color of your urine. It should be colorless or light yellow to indicate that your water intake is adequate. Now that's pretty easy isn't it?
